Giving up coffee

I’m trying to give up on coffee. Or rather I’m giving a trial “without” caffeine. It is 3rd day without coffee (normal dose – 2 big cups). I was asked several times – why? In short – I’m observing in myself barrow syndrome (“Boss, is so much work we have not time to fill it up!”). When on caffeine I have tendency to do wrong prioritisation. I want to give myself break for coffee and see if it is better that way.

From my observations – I need to find some substitute, not that I’m so addicted I can not live without. I need something to drink in work. Up to this time I drank 2 cups of coffee and 2 or 3 tea during workday. Switching to tea only made me nervous on tea scent. 5 cups is much to many. Especially when we have here some flavoured tea. So I need to find something other (like grain coffee?) or to find better tea for myself.

One of the reasons behind my giving on coffee is that I agree with Steve Palina on this topic in general (www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/05/how-to-give-up-coffee)
